The address book feature provides an easy and convenient way for users to save human-readable wallet address data on the app. Given that wallet addresses consist of a long string of alphanumeric characters, there’s a high possibility of losing assets if a wrong character is entered in the course of transferring assets. This is particularly so owing to the fact that blockchain transactions are irreversible.
One of the major advantages of this system is that every saved data on the address book is synchronized on all devices over IPFS (Interplanetary File System) - a versioned file system that allows users to store, request, and transfer verifiable data in a secure and distributed manner. As one of the platforms to integrate this feature which serves to eliminate all associated risks while transferring value, imToken has in no small measure enhanced the app’s user-friendliness.

Navigate to the “My Profile” tab and select “Address BooK”.

Tap the plus “+” sign on the top-right corner.

Select wallet type.

Enter a valid wallet address, wallet name and description; tap “Save” on the top-right corner.
While transferring assets, users can seamlessly utilize this functionality having successfully saved their desired recipient ETH/ERC-20, BTC, EOS, COSMOS wallet addresses.
i. On the transaction page, tap the address book icon as indicated.
ii. Select the saved record. this automatically imports the desired recipient wallet address
As deemed necessary, the saved records can be modified or deleted by selecting the address details and tapping "Edit"
